Amazon Associates tag — optional

Associates tags look like yourname-20 (letters/numbers/dashes, ending in a number code). Double-check it in your Associates Central — a typo means Amazon attributes nothing to you.

Bookshop.org affiliate ID — optional

Your Bookshop ID is the number in your affiliate links — bookshop.org/a/128305/…. Find it in your Bookshop affiliate dashboard.

Why we ask, and where the money goes

Viewer buys a book→the store pays commission→your own affiliate account

With your tags: every buy button on your page carries them, so Amazon (~4.5%) and Bookshop.org (10%) pay you directly. The money never passes through pohs. Your tag is just a tracking ID — sharing it with us doesn't touch your account: every click and sale still reports in your own Amazon Associates and Bookshop dashboards, exactly as normal, and you can change or remove your tags any time. pohs is free — we only earn the affiliate commission on pages no creator has claimed yet.

Two buttons per book? Yes — Amazon (widest catalog, used copies) and Bookshop.org (supports local bookstores, pays you more than double per book). Readers pick; you earn either way.

Email is only for telling you when your store is live and giving you the manage link. No newsletter, no sharing.

Typed one wrong? Nothing breaks — links just won't attribute to you until it's fixed. Update it any time in your store settings, or email bassam@pohs.ai.

Verification proves channel control for claiming your store. Payouts, when they launch, will additionally require sign-in. Codes are channel-specific and expire only when we rotate keys.
