What pohs is

pohs.ai reads the public transcripts of YouTube videos and lists the books and products mentioned in them, with links to buy each one. There are no user accounts and nothing to sign up for.

What we collect

• Scan requests. When you paste a video into the scan box, we store the video's public YouTube ID and the scan result (the books found). We do not store who requested it.
• Rate limiting. To prevent abuse, a daily counter is kept per IP address for scan requests. It expires automatically within about a day and is used for nothing else.
• No cookies, no analytics. pohs sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts.

Affiliate links

Links to Amazon on this site are affiliate links: if you buy through one, the creator whose page you used (and pohs) may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Every page with such links says so next to them. What you do on Amazon after clicking is governed by Amazon's own privacy policy, not ours.

Third parties

• Cloudflare hosts the site and API and sees standard request logs (IP, user agent) as any host does.
• YouTube serves video thumbnails; Open Library, Google Books, and Amazon serve book cover images. Your browser requests those images directly from them.

Creators

Creator pages are built from public videos and public transcripts. If a page is about your channel and you want it changed or removed, email us and we'll do it.
